Still here. . . .

I'm sure there's a few of you wondering where I am or what I'm doing! I'm still here :-) Still doing the same old 'same old' - which I'm not complaining about, cos I love it! It's been nearly a week since I last posted so I thought I should make an effort and pop on here to say hi (if indeed there is anyone still popping in here).

I've been to the gym 3 times this week (Mon, Wed, Thur). And despite putting a few pounds on (which I expected to do as I gain muscle) I'm happy to say my jeans are fitting much better around my middle, so I know my body shape is changing and I'm gradually toning up in the areas I want to. I would have gone to the gym today but I have to wait in for some new furniture to be delivered. Yes, I finally sold my 'ugly' brown sofas and I've bought a new sofa and chair. I will share pictures once they're here. Not sure if I've mentioned it here yet, but I'm planning on repainting the living room and getting new window treatments as well as some other new furniture like coffee tables and a new kitchen table.

It's still so warm here it's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is nearly upon us, which also means Kristen's birthday is just around the corner too! I'm keeping it simple this year and just inviting a few of her little friends over plus our neighbors. We'll celebrate on the Saturday before her birthday which will be the 22nd Nov. Her birthday is the following week on the Tuesday, and she's off school all that week as Thanksgiving is that Thursday. It should be a fun time. My inlaws will be away in California for Thanksgiving so we will be spending the day with our wonderful neighbors - they have kindly asked us over to share Thanksgiving dinner with them. Kristen is thrilled as it means she gets to play with Connor all day. And the very next day is Connors birthday too so more celebrating for us all :-)

OK, off to do more housework. Have a great weekend.

Hi sweets,
That's wonderful that you're seeing pleasing results from all your workouts, how encouraging is that!

I look forward to seeing what color you repaint as well as your drapes, sofa etc. How exciting. Are you going to drop us a hint about colors?

So what date is Thanksgiving? We arrive on Nov 19th, so maybe that first weekend is Thanksgiving. We don't have it in Australia so I'm not really sure.

I hope you have a terrific weekend. I need to start packing!

Lots of love 'n hugs. xx

Hey D! I'm still coming by to check in with you!! I've been a bad blogger lately too... sometimes ya got it... sometimes ya don't! Oh well.

Congrats on the body changes! I worked out 3 times this week too which was a HUGE deal... I need to do it more often. I started using Doug's weight machine for my arms as well as the treadmill. Hopefully I'll see some nice changes too soon ;-)

Thanksgiving sounds fun with the neighbors. I'm glad they invited you :-)

Can't wait to see the new furniture pics. You really did miss your calling... you should have been an interior decorator with all the changes you do ;-)

Love ya
Have a great weekend!
Hugs xo

that's nice of your neighbours to invite you round. Nice to not have to do the cooking too.

I've got redecorating plans bubbling too. I'm sure Bill is delighted. ha ha ha. I do have cost free changes that I'm making too, just a spot of rearranging. It's nice to do on a rainy afternoon like today.

Have a lovely weekend
