.... after talking to my sister again on the phone today and realizing that she pops in here more times than I realize, I really should blog more than I do. I kind of miss it sometimes, and I miss having (or finding) the time to visit my fellow bloggers too. That's not to say I'm not always on the computer like I used to be, because honestly, I'm on it just as much as ever. I just find other things to occupy me on here. For instance I now 'plurk' all day and keep up with some of my old bloggy friends that way. I am on Facebook, although I don't check in there as often as I used to since I signed up with Plurk, and I belong to Ravelry (a knitting community where I can spend hours looking at other knitting blogs, patterns, yarns - ok, this stuff is addictive I have to admit). So, where was I? ah yes, blogging more often! So even when I don't have much to say (cos we just chatted for nearly an hour sis ;-) I'll blog so you have something to read (and look at) when you pop in here (and for you too Big Sis xxx).
OK, so I don't waffle on about nothing I thought I'd add a few 'old' pics that I was just looking at on my computer. I hardly take photos any more but back in the day when the princess was a wee toddler. . . . well here's a little photo-shoot we had with mommy!

And I'll leave you with the one we finally chose for our 'valentine card' that year

Oh so cute!!! Don't you wish they could stay that little?
very sweet. She looks about Humbugs age in the photos.
Sorry about the polyps, not a nice decision to make about the surgery. At least it's not something you 'have' to do.
Understand totally about the blogging thing. I can honestly say that sometimes I am scraping the bottom of my mind to find something to write about, it's not always easy, and time is another thing. Often I don't get a chance to get online until little one has her nap, and then I can guarantee as I'm about to start visiting she'll wake up. But I don't worry about it any more. I used to feel that I should explain where I'd been or what I'd been doing, but now I just think that my friends know and understand that there are times when I don't want to visit because I want to do something else online, and times when I just don't get the chance. I'm sure it's the same for everyone.
That said, I did visit you a few times last week, but didn't always leave a pawprint. I feel like a stalker if I keep saying 'hello', so when friends don't update then I won't say hello for just that reason.
Anyway. time I was off. Hope you have a good start to the week :O)
Oh Kristen is so cute on these photos, time flies doesn't it? Sorry about the polyps, it'll be fast once you decide what to do & I hope you won't have these pesky sinus infections. You're in my thoughts, hugs
Hi Denise! Cute Valentine photos. She's a little ham and you picked the right one for your card back then. Pros of blogging over plurk... You will have a record of things to look back upon-like a diary. Plurk, in my opinion, is a time sink.
I think it's a good idea to try the non-surgical alternatives 1st. At least, they found the source of the problem! (((Hugz)))
What darling Valentine pics of Kristen! I love keeping up with everyone on plurk but sometimes when I blog I feel like I'm just repeating myself, lol!
I will take pics of Bella using her new stuff. That will make it much more interesting. ((BIG HUGS))
Aww Denise, what beautiful photos, and I especially love the last one...the one you used on your cards. What a great job you did. OK, you need to get that camera out more!
I know nothing about plurk and how any of it works and figure with my blog and FB as well as my graphics web site I'd better stick with those or I'll never be off her ever!
So you're knitting up a storm I hear. What's on the needles? I would love to knit for Dan, but Mel thinks knitted things are old ladyish and won't let him wear anything hand knitted which is a shame when there are so many cute patterns out there. Still, not much point my knitting something if he'll never get to wear it.
Night, night Miss Denise (((hugs)))
What adorable pictures! Kristen was (and still is) so cute! I don't blog or blog hop as much as I should either :( I sort of go through phases--maybe I'll get back into blogging more in time. Have a blessed hump day sweetie! xo
Wow... what a dolly Kiki is and was when she was little! She was just about that age when we met you at your place wasn't she??
I'm with you on the blogging more and visiting more. I started off well in blogging daily, but the trip sort of messed me up. Hopefully when I get home I'll get back to more regular blogging.
Have a great day!!
Hugs xo
Kristen is just so beautiful just like her mam oops mum or are you a mom. Just think you could have been a professional photographer if you'd not got into knitting :o)). Love ya lots xx BS
HI Denise those are cute photos of Kristen back in the day. She was a little cutie pie and still is. Have a nice day sweetie. I took down my password gate so anyone can come now and read my babbling. LOL! big hugs
