Today in Austin, Texas - 79 degrees (an expected high of 84)!!!!!!
Yes, this picture was taken today, March 8th! When some of you folks are still watching snow fall (sorry Danna) the kids are running around our cul-de-sac with their swimsuits on. And as you can see below, splashing around in a paddling pool of water.
You can just see the buds on the tree in the front garden. I'm upstairs in Kristen's bedroom taking these shots. Of course the grass has yet to grow back after the winter months, but the kids don't care about that.
They were hot from running around with a ball, so Kristen asked her Daddy to get out the little pool! It's 6.40pm as I type this and they're still out there now! What with the clocks having gone forward an hour it's still light outside.

I am SO jealous!! I wanna be hot enough to want to hop in a pool!! We are barely at freezing today but it is beginning to "feel" like Spring!!

Hi Denise wow it's really nice in Texas we are cold on the northern end still. But that's fine with me I don't want 100 F yet. Which we will get in the summer here. looks like the kids are having a great time. enjoy your week. big hugs
