So as not to get behind I’m sharing pics of day 2 and 3 of the 30 Day PhotoFun.
Day 2: Shoes
These are a pair of my favorite summer shoes. When I’m not wearing flipflops I’m wearing these, usually when I’m going out somewhere nice to eat. They’re from Ann Klein and so comfy.
Day 3: Hands
I had lots of photos in mind for this picture, what came to mind was Kristen’s baby hands, or my Mam’s hands resting on Dad’s shoulder. I even took a picture of my hand . . .
having just tried to give myself a French manicure I thought it would look ok, but then I realized it is only one hand, and the title says ‘handS’. Then I remembered I took this photo today . . .
Last day of school. This is the 5th graders in Kristen’s school ‘parading’ through the 4th grade hallway as they ‘graduate to Middle School'!’. All the kids would put their hands out as they students went by, and as you can see they tried to connect with them all.
I told you I’m no photographer, but when I thought of ‘hands’ this is what came to mind today.

So, it was last day of school today. Kristen and I went out for our ‘traditional ice cream treat’, but even better Jason was working from home today and came with us :-) (I’ll share pictures next time) Kristen got a great report card – ALL A’s :-) So she got a monetary gift from me and her Daddy, which made her eyes open wide. We then went to Target to return a couple of things I got last week, and Kristen of course had to spend some of her money. I think I’m going to start another ‘yearly tradition’ and have a Margarita tonight ;-) it will signify the start of Summer, and I’m sure my BFF will join me.

Hi Denise! A photo challenge is a good way to give you something to blog about! So Kristen will be starting middle school next term? Going from "big man" on campus to what we used to call "scrubs." Don't ask me where that term came from... sounds like maybe a navy reference. Hope you have a great summer ahead! (((Hugz)))
I think the photo challenge is a wonderful idea. Lucky you with all of the wonderful summer days to look forward to. Will you still knit through summer, or is that just a winter thing? How nice that you have Kiki home now for the summer now...enjoy!
