I wanted to start off the week by posting about our healthy meals in the previous week. We’ve been eating really well, getting a ton of fruits and veg in to us, but ya know what? I didn’t take one single picture of the meals I prepared last week!! I shall try to do that this week so next week I can recap again on what we’ve had and if we’re still eating well (doing this might keep me motivated longer to stay on the ‘health kick’).
Last night Kristen and I did eat salmon and I grilled Jason a pork chop (cos he hates anything ‘fish’)
This wasn’t my plate from last night but from a year or so ago. I just thought I’d add it here because I have no other pics yet. Kristen loves salmon , and tilapia when I make it, so I really should try to make fish at least once a week for us. The fact that Jason doesn’t like it at all shouldn’t put me off. I can simply cook him a chicken breast.
I haven’t put my menu plan together yet, so I’m going to sit and do that now.
Kristen and I went out a couple of times last week after school and took Boo with us for a quick walk around the neighborhood. I need to get out more, get back to my daily morning walk, but as I picked up the mail this morning there was a notice pinned up ‘BEWARE’! and it went on to say there is dog on the loose in the neighborhood that is aggressive. He seems to be friendly as you approach him but that he growls and then chases you! It says to call animal control if you see him. WELL, that was enough to put me off going out there today, plus the fact it’s foggy and damp – no,the main reason is that dog!! So I shall have to put a workout dvd on later, because I must get more active. Despite eating really well this past week I’ve hardly lost half a pound – those jeans still don’t fit!! When they do, I’ll be happy again.
Have a great day, hope to do some bloggy visits later.

I fell off the diet wagon last night. Back on the train today. Good luck, it looks like your are doing well.
I was SO good for 2 months, and then I fell off a bit last week. But I'm recommitted, and I'm glad you're doing well with it too. Good luck!
I was just looking at my belly in the mirror and it's time for a bit of action. Not happy. No more cake for me, though I'll still bake it for the troops.
British recipes are in either ounces or grams (I showed the cake recipe in grams), it just depends on the author.
180 grams is just over 6 ounces. My scales show both.
Hope you have a good and healthy start to the week :o) x
Keep it up! Its hard to do for sure I am on the diet band wagon too I have a treadmill in the garage so that helps. Have a good day!!

I just love salmon Denise. I didn't before but I do now. Your entire plate looks tasty and healthy. I don't blame you for not taking the chance because of the dog. Be careful.
The snow is coming down really hard today. Wow! :)
Hi Denise! That's great that Kiki likes salmon and tilapia! A lot of kids won't eat fish even tho they will eat fishsticks- guess they don't realize it's fish. I've noticed Ryan smelling food before he decides to eat it or not. We fixed him French toast the other morning and I guess he didn't like the smell of syrup because he rejected it. I end up eating all his rejects! :D Have a great week ahead and I hope your neighbors can figure out who owns the dog and make sure he stays in his yard! (((Hugz)))
I really have to start eating more healthy, my excuse was not until after my birthday but that's gone now so I have no excuse . Looking forward to your recipes , always good to get new ideas
I just have to say first BOO is so cute, I can't wait to meet him at my pet party on January 24th. I am not a salmon eater, however the meal looks delish and healthy!
