I thought I'd make a post tonight as I know I won't get a chance to over the weekend. I was going to post tomorrow but I probably won't get a chance to do it then either. My daily routine since I joined the gym has changed somewhat, which is half of the reason I am not getting on here as much to blog. In the past I used to take Kristen to school and come straight home, load the dishwasher, clear the kitchen, make beds etc, then I'd sit down and check my email and visit blogs, and try to do a post of my own.
That's all changed now. After getting home from the school run, I still do my morning chores, but instead of sitting at the computer I'm usually heading straight out to the gym. After the gym I will often call in to the grocery store or Target for a few food items that I need and by the time I get home it's at least 12.30pm. I have lunch, do some laundry and before I know it, it's 2pm and I have to head back out to pick up Kristen. I don't mind these changes, but as I said in my last post it just means I'm not as motivated to blog on here and so my posts might dwindle to just a couple of times a week for now.
I just want to clarify (cos I think I gave the wrong impression last time) that I am not feeling down, or blah :-) I just really don't want to bore you all with blog posts of nothing but 'gym visit's and housework. But speaking of 'gym visits' I will just say that tomorrow I am going to be doing some weight training all on my own, and it will be the first time! Usually I do the weights with my trainer and on the days I don't meet with him I do cardio on the treadmill. I won't meet with him tomorrow but he said he'll leave me a list of things to work on. Hopefully I can do well on my own too as my PT sessions won't last forever. I have to say though, so far they have been well worth the money. If I didn't have appointments to meet with the trainer I'd probably not be as committed to going on those days. I do hope that when the sessions end I won't start making excuses not to go each day.
This morning it was 'Muffins with Mom' morning at Kristen's school. That meant we had to get there 15 minutes earlier (7.15am). Kristen always enjoys this morning (the school does it every year, along with Donuts with Dad later in the year) but I think that has a lot to do with the muffin and not so much the Mom ;-)
So, with all that said, I wish you all a great weekend, and I promise to try my best and make a few posts next week.

Your words and encouragment really helped and gave me hope. Thanks sweetie.
What a great idea "Muffins with Moms". I can kinda understand why Donuts with Dad's might be more popular though (nothing to do with the dad's but more the treat right? Cute idea.
That's terrific that even on the day your PT wasn't there he gave you a list so you could keep on target. It's probably also the accountable thing. After your time is finished with the PT, maybe you could find a gym buddy and you could be accountable to each other. I'm sure others would find that helpful too. Have you met any of the other ladies at the gym you could do this with, or maybe put a add in your local paper.
Hope you have a lovely weekend sweets. xx
Great idea to have Jason do that, and he'll need you to motivate him too....couldn't be better.
Jan is still hanging on, but only just. The limbo waiting is hard for everyone. I don't think you realise just how much your words helped....thank you.
Yes, it's almost 11pm friday night and I'm in bed. Hopefuuly I can sleep although I find myself wanting to pray for Jan more than anything.
Have a lovely weekend xx
Hey Sweetie!
Good for you for going and doing your weight workout without the PT! I wish the endorphins would kick in for me when I try & work out...they never do and so I give up because I hate it so :-( Bad I know! Keep up the good work!!
Muffins with Mom sounds fun. Glad Kiki enjoys it so much!!
Did your package arrive yet??
Talk to you soon
Love ya xo
totally understand. When I have quiet days and either don't post of write something brief, I get lots of 'sorry you're feeling down' comments, when I'm not down. Just got nothing to say and changing nappies and cleaning the house can't be dressed up to be anything than what it is! I'm not complaining about that, it's just hard to make it sound interesting. Yet I've noticed when I waffle on about my thoughts (like this week) visits appear to dwindle or people visit and don't comment.
Anyway. HOpe you have a lovely weekend, and I don't mind hearing about your gym goings on. Hope you can find time to carry on blogging in your changed routine.
ok. got to go. lots of love xxx
Hi Denise, I am really impressed with your workouts. I really need to get going, but I am always tired. I have been real busy and spending less time on the computer though I do enjoy my blogging when I can. Have a great week. Hugs
I do miss your yummy food pics.
Hi Denise, sounds like you are really enjoying your gym workouts. Good for you. I understand completely about not feeling like you have anything to say or blog about. I go through great periods of that too. For me, its more about not wanting to use what little free time I do have to sit and blog. Would rather be doing something with my family or Michael or just picking up a book. Balance!!!
Have a Blessed week sweetie.
Hugs,
Cindy
just saw your comment so came back to reply.
Chloe paddington bag.
No, haven't seen SK, but, that's because I've been waiting for the bag to turn up for the past two weeks. Other than weekly shop, I haven't been out at all. Not even to the corner shop! So in two weeks I've been out twice, and I have to say that I've loved it. We've been cosy and happy, and I've been able to get on with sewing. I thought if I went out at all I would be bound to miss it turning up. I'm glad it turned up on Friday afternoon, now I can go out again in the mornings without worrying I've missed a delivery.
I'll ask Bill to look for SK in town for me.
Ooh, just went to your knitting blog and I see the photo with the rose! :O) I'm glad you are wearing it. :O)
xx
OOOo don't forget to add a pic of your new toy! Is it nice to drive? Hope you enjoy it. Is it 5 or 7 seater?
Hope you're enjoying your weekend sweets. Talk to you soon. xx
Hi Denise,
Thought I would stop in to see what you've been doing. I have been busy and haven't visited much lately. I see you are busy too especially at the gym. Have a good week. HUGS
enjoy your cooler weather! I loved being out and about this morning, with the frost on the ground. It made for such a lovely walk. I was just reading that the UK are in for snow, but I don't think it's going to reach us. More like Scotland and the higher parts of the north. Oh well, never mind! I'm not too bothered about having snow yet, I'd rather wait until Christmas!
Have a lovely day. lots of love xxx
