As promised, here are a few pictures of our master bedroom. I'm really happy with how it all turned out. The wall colors, for anyone wondering is Laura Ashley - 'Gold' and Waverley Homes 'Baked Clay (that being the darker accent color). I had Jason hang a few pictures this afternoon and the new piece I got for above the bed from Kirklands. The pics are self explanatory of course, they are just taken from a few different angles.
The first one is looking in from the bedroom door.
The next one is from the left corner of the room.
And the last one standing at the top of the bed looking towards the bottom.
I would eventually like a seat at the bottom of the bed and am thinking of getting something like this chaise from Ikea.
I thought about getting two but Jason would probably never sit there so I would really only need one. I like the idea of lounging on it while reading or knitting before I head to bed.So, there ya go! It was a lot of hard work but well worth it. I've always liked my bedroom, but even more so now and I just love walking in there at night and seeing the 'fruits of my labor' so to speak ;-)

Just got your note, and I'm so pleased you can finally taste, that must be really nice at last. I sure do hope that things will stay this way for you.
Love, love, love your bedroom, all so beautifully co-ordinated, and the colours just go together so well. Love that idea of the curtain panels hung between the windows like that...excellent idea. That chaise from Ikea would be perfect, and it looks like it would be perfect for you to put your feet up and knit or read. It would match really well and you could trow a pillow on it to tie it in further. Thanks for adding the pics, they are excellent.

Hi Denise! Everything looks great! Our bedrrom is painted gold, too. It's a little paler than yours, I think. We have similar looking furniture- our dressers are very much the same. should send you a photo. :) Nice to have doors to a balcony, isn't it? Makes the room feel bigger. (((Hugz)))
you've been working hard and have done a good job. I love the colour, but that's probably because we used to have a Laura Ashley paint in the living room called 'Antique Gold', so they're probably incredibly similar, if not the same :O)

Hi Sis, love the bedroom, you're like nenna good with the design. The chaise will look great I'm sure. Mam's having new wardrobes in the back bedroom - she wants sliding doors.
