1925, what a great year!

Happy Birthday Mam

Today is my sweet Mam's 86th birthday :-)  I wish I was with her to celebrate her special day.

I'd smother her with hugs and kisses, because she taught me what true love is.
I'd bake her a beautiful birthday cake because she taught me  how to  bake.
I'd make her a wonderful meal, because she taught me how to cook.
And I'd buy her expensive gifts, but I know those wouldn't be the important things, because she taught me that nothing is more important than the love you have for your family, and being surrounded by them today will fill her heart with joy like no other gift can.
I wish I was there with them all.

Happy Birthday Mam,
We love you SO much

aw, what a lovely post. Happy birthday Denise's mam!

thanks for the visit yesterday. I just used basic sponge recipes for the cake, but if you look on CR I've posted about it and linked up to the brilliant tutorial on how to put the cake together and decorate it. Much simpler than it looks, I can tell you.

have a lovely Friday x

Happy Birthday to your beautiful mom! If this blog is anything to go by, she definitely taught you all of those things very well! May she have many more happy and healthy years!
