It was 92 degrees here yesterday! Certainly felt like Summer, and today it's mid 80's. Jason got home earlier than I thought yesterday, it was 3pm when he drove up. The afternoon and evening sped by and here we are today, a beautiful sunny day and poor Jason is in his office working :-(I popped out earlier to get a few groceries and bought some plants for my window boxes. When I got home I saw Connor with his swimsuit on and there was Kristen jumping for joy to see me because she'd already asked her Daddy if she could go to the pool with Connor and he had said no. I don't like Kristen at the pool without my supervision yet (she's not a good swimmer yet) so I quickly put the groceries away while she put on her swim suit and I joined Steve (Connor's Dad) at the pool so the kids could play an hour. And yes as you can imagine, despite the heat outside, the pool was not warm at all. The kids were shivering in the water but they had fun splashing around - gotta love Texas ;-)
Kristen is out front playing now so I'm going to potter about on my front deck and plant my window boxes. Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

I never have any complaints about warm weather. I'm all for swimming in March... or December for that matter.
Yes, the waiting is the hardest part. This deal will be so amazing! The price is 90K less than it sold for just a few months ago. The market really is in free-fall!
Have a great Sunday! (((Hugz)))
Hi Denise, I could not find the SB book you showed :( Can you send me the recipe to the quiche you made. Enjoy your warm weather. Ours was cold, windy and rainy. Have a blessed Sunday. Hugs
seems amazing, splashing about in a pool in March! No way could that happen here, especially today. Big fat raindrops are sliding down the windows!
thanks for your email. I've replied!
must go. weekly shop today and none of us are quite ready to get moving! xxxx
Hi Denise! I think you're very lucky to be able to be a SAHM! I was lucky, too, but things are harder these days. Rent and housing prices are so expensive here. It's hard for young couples. It would be even harder if they had to pay for child care so that's a big help to them. I think Jessica is just having anxiety over the difficult class situation. Enjoy your Sunday! (((Hugz)))
Hi,
I know it seems strange to swim in March... but go for it, I say. 92 degrees! Oh My Gosh!!! HUGS
Your weather sure is warm already, at the moment it's warmer than mine and we're just into autumn. I hope you're not going to be in for a sizzling summer.
Nice to have your dh back home I'm sure.
I added a pic to my blog, (Google earth pic of my house) and I thought it would be clickable but it isn't. The original pic is bigger than it's showing. Mmm...me thinks I'm doing something wrong. Any suggestions?
Tootles and enjoy your Sunday evening. Crazy huh, when it's 12.45pm Monday here already. xx
