HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL OF YOUR WONDERFUL MEN FOLK.
I hope you ladies are spoiling the special men in your life today ;-) Our 'Father's Day' spoiling started yesterday! Jason had to go in to his office for a few hours to finish some task off ready for next week. He mentioned before he went out that maybe tomorrow we could have a movie marathon, perhaps Star Wars or Lord of the Rings? We're such home-bodies that we would prefer to just stay home and relax together than try to go out and battle the crowds in restaurants etc. I said Star Wars would be better because Kristen could watch with us. So while Jason went in to the office Kristen and I dashed up to the grocery store and bought some 'Star Wars' paper plates and napkins, a pizza for dinner and a cookie cake for dessert.
When Jason came home we surprised him with dinner and put the movie on while we ate :-) The spoiling continues today. . . . Kristen woke up Daddy with a balloon and some cards (she made one for Boo to give Daddy!) I just made a yummy breakfast from the PW cookbook but you'll have to wait til Tuesday to see what it was (it was our recipe of the week picked by Melanie) ;-) and now Jason and Kristen are playing on the Wii together while I sit here and type this. Later today I have hotdogs, corn on the cob, potato salad and bbq beans for dinner.
And 7 months earlier, his first DAY as a Father!
In Loving Memory

To my sweet and special Dad ~ oh how I miss you.
(the above pic is taken with my older sister (not me) it was possibly taken near his very first Father's Day too.)

Hi Densie! Aww, that's cute that you even got Star Wars plates! That was sweet of you to indulge his love of Star Wars. Justin is the same- has seen the movies so many times! Also loves LOTR's. I think he and Jason would hit it off!
Lovely photos for Father's Day, too!
PS. Kali's urinalysis was normal so nothing new wrong. :)

What a great post - it sounds like you all had a wonderful day. I love the pics with your little one as a baby - she was gorgeous from back then! What a cutie! and I am sorry about your dad, but bless you for remembering him and keeping him in your heart.
Happy Monday Denise;
What a wonderful Father's Day you had set up for the special man in your life. I'm sure the Star Wars theme and pizza hit the spot. I'm more a fan of Lord of the Rings and own all the dvds. Wonderful photos of your Jason with his 1st born. I especially like the photo of your Dad holding you. Precious memories.
I have no special men to spoil, husband or my father. So I tend to keep to myself on that day.
Have a lovely beginning of the week. :)
Sounds like you spoiled him real good..way to go! I loved the pic's of him with the new baby..always such a sweet moment...and your dad too! Yay for good dad's :D
Hi Denise - what a lovely 'spoiling' for Jason! You & I think so much alike, as I do things like the Star Wars set-up. It's so much fun to use our creativity in that way. I'm sure Jason felt so special!
Is that Jean in the photo with your Dad? It looks like her I thought.
You mentioned eating well after your cookout last night - I am eating well too. We are grilling out chicken, & having loads of fresh veggies, ect. Who really feels like eating lots in this weather??? :-) It's so hot here.
Have a lovely evening Denise. I always love stopping here to get a smile. Hugs!
