Just a quick little post to say hello to you all, and to thank the many of you that have left comments while you've been here. To Kia, I popped by your website and clicked on your blog but I couldn't see anywhere to leave a comment or a tag to let you know I'd come by. Thanks for visiting me, and if you come by again do let me know how I might leave you a message on your blog - it may be very obvious, but so obvious I'm missing it!
Nikki, hi and it's nice to meet you :-) thanks too for taking the time to leave a comment. I am really enjoying the Thirteenth Tale and am looking forward to the book club discussion in a couple of weeks at my house. This wasn't my pick but another girl's and we'd usually host the meeting at her house but my hubby will be out of town that week so I've offered to host again. I've been thinking of having a 'Yorkshire Tea' theme, seeing as the book is set in Yorkshire (and that way I can have a little tea party ;-) I looked up Diane Setterfield but can't see that she's written any more books as of yet. If you hear of a new one, do let me know. Also I wanted to pop by your blog and say hello but it appears to be a closed site, so hello to you from here, and if you do open your blog be sure to let me know so I can come visit :-)
To all my other bloggy friends, 'old and new' I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend. I so appreciate the time you all take to pop in and 'read me'. I've had a couple more cups of Earl Grey since my last post and I do plan on trying more different teas in the near future. My friend Cindy loves tea (something I didn't really know, cos we always meet at Starbucks for a coffee!) and she is going to give me a few samples of the teas she drinks :-)
Ahhh, but if I continue to want tea, what I need next is a lovely new shiney kettle like Sue! (see her post dated Sept 1)! Believe it or not I don't even own a kettle :-o

Ciao Denise, just popped in to see what other tea you did try. Sorry you could not find where to leave a comment. In my homepage, there is a link to the comments (HaloScan) at the end of the menu on the left. Also, on the blog page, you can click on the book graphic at the bottom of the page. I know, it's a lil too tricky, I'll try to change it coz I don't want to miss any comments. Thank you very much for visitng. Have a happy Sunday! :)
Hi Denise!
Popping in to see what you have been up to. I love all the pics and info about tea. Thank you for sharing. :)
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend sweetie.
Lots of hugs
hope you are having a lovely weekend Denise. It IS raining here... of course! ha ha ha.
hope you are still enjoying your tea. :O) xx
Happy Sonday, D!
It has been such a crazy end of my week... I'm ready to have a cup of tea myself. In fact, I just boiled my fancy new kettle so I'm off to do that after I finish here.
I have the perfect idea for your birthday this year so if I get myself organized now I may just get it off to you BEFORE your birthday ends!
Enjoy your book and cuppa!
Hugs xo
Hi sweetie,
You're really getting in to this tea thing....how nice. I make scones too. Have you ever tried making them with chopped dates in them? They are extremely yummy & I often make them for visitors or for Dave to take a batch to work to share for morning tea. Here scones are usually eaten with jam and cream and are known in tea rooms and cafes as "Devonshire tea" as they are always served with a pot of tea.
I'd be lost without my electric kettle. Mine gets used every few hours!
Did you get your bathroom mat and bits and pieces yet.
Still keeping your Mam in my prayers and hope she is doing better.
With love. xx
Hi Denise!
Just popping in to wish you a very blessed week. Big hugs!
Hi Denise Thanks for popping by - I only had your old address bookmarked so it's taken me a while to track you down. Glad you're getting into tea after all this while - there's nothing quite like it. When we've been abroad on holiday, I am so delighted to get "a decent cuppa at last" on the plane home (Which makes me sound about 90 y.o. but the pure joy as I sip it just can't be beat :) ) How lovely to host your bookclub with a little tea party, it sounds perfect. Nice to read you again. Love xxxx
