Good Sunday Morning to you all, it's a gorgeous day here in Central TX :-) Well, let me re-phrase that, it 'LOOKS' like a gorgeous day here in Central Texas, but I know that it is already way too hot outside so I'll just be looking at the sunshine from the 'coolness' of my living room!
This week has been very much the same as last, really I'm beginning to worry that my posts (especially my Sunday one) are sounding like a broken record! We aren't doing much at all other than hang out together at home, keeping up with housework and this weekend... messing about in the kitchen.
In my attempt to be 'frugal' I was going to make homemade pizza on Friday night (I've never liked spending a ton of $$$ at Domino's or even Papa Murphy's!), but we never got around to making pizza - we had leftovers in the fridge to eat so I just didn't bother. BUT, we did make some on Saturday night. . . . .

This morning I was in the kitchen again. Yesterday I was browsing websites for meal ideas and was on Pioneer Woman's 'Tasty Kitchen' blog, I found these delicious things, 'cinnamon bun pancakes'! Kristen of course loved the idea of these for breakfast today so I made them, and fried some bacon too! Oh my, hot coffee, pancakes and bacon . . . .

Other news this week.... Boo went back to Petsmart yesterday (Banfield Vets) for his teeth cleaning. Poor little guy, he was not a happy camper when he came home yesterday afternoon. He is going to be on antibiotics for his liver values (did I mention this last week?) for another two weeks which should clear up any infections and he will have his 'levels' checked again in 3 months.
Jason has to work today (in his office at home) so we won't be hanging out like we have been doing most Sunday's for the past few months. Kristen's friend, Emily is home from vacation so I'm hoping they can play together today, that leaves me time to plan our menu for next week, put some laundry away, and put my feet up and knit :-)
Hope you all have a great day!

Have a great afternoon and thanks for the chat! Happy sewing ;-)

The pizzas look great! We forced ourselves out into the heat today for lunch and then peach picking and a quick stop at the outlet. They were all OK but it was HOT at the peach farm.
sounds like a nice weekend to me. we didn't do much but i did make a nice dinner tonight and baseball yesterday! have a wonderful week and thanks for keeping in touch! hugs, susan
Denise you really can cook! You always make me hungry with your food posts. Yum!
Thanks for checking out my stand. It's been a fun new piece.
I'm STILL hot from today. ~Melissa :)
love the pizza. I let Humbug help decorate her own pizza, then eat it herself a few weeks ago. So what? you are wondering. WEll, she was head to toe in sparkling white and it had to be washed pretty quickly afterwards! I'm so stupid! I love her in white though, it suits her :O) (pizza stains came out. washing up liquid to lift it out then wash as normal and all is fine).
Poor Boo. It is SUCH a worry when pets have their teethy done. Dud had his done last year, and Bill, Humbug and I were all on edge until the vets phoned to say he was ok and waking up. Luckily, he won't need it to be done for a while now, and has mainly dry cat food :O)
Hope your weather cools down soon. We have been lucky. A dash of rain the latter part of last week (not enough though, we are very dry here), and now a gorgeous breeze and cloudy sky.Still warm, still sunny, but more like the summer we expect in GB :O)
have a good start to the week xxx
That breakfast sounds perfect. I have been really watching my diet this summer and I'm pretty certain pancakes are not on it. Sigh. When I see my daughters I will maybe try them. My youngest loves pancakes and she will give me a good excuse to make them : )
It's always great to get new recipes, isn't it? I don't eat pancakes often but love to good recipes on hand for friends --so I'm eyeing those cinnamon buns. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Jane F.
The breakfast sounds delish:)
