Yesterday, my Paula Deen magazine finally arrived. This was a replacement issue that I had to request weeks ago when I'd seen the new issue in stores but hadn't received it in the mail .

I got a subscription to this for my birthday back in October and I look forward to every issue. This one was worth waiting for. I really do like Paula Deen and the magazine is not only filled with yummy recipes but has great articles in too. A lot of times they are about her sons and her family which I think adds a great personal touch. Anyway, I had a lovely time reading it yesterday and I discovered that they have set up a new website where you can get recipes from previous issues. It's called CookingwithPaulaDeen.com I had a browse through that yesterday too. I especially liked the 'steak tacos' they mentioned in the magazine. They said the recipe was on the site so I looked it up. You can CLICK HERE if you'd like to see it too. I think I might try these one day soon. The corn relish sounds very fresh and yummy. If you want the recipe for the corn relish, go to the home page and search recipes, it brings it up seperately!

ages ago you sent me a link where I could watch Paula Deen cookery vids. I watched quite a few, because I loved her accent! Anyway, I can't find the link. If you think of it, or know the one I'm rattling on about, could you send to to me again? :O) ta!
you are very into your cooking at the moment!
I know exactly how you feel about the mag, I have a few mags that I absolutely love to get my mitts on. I thought of you last week. I was sorting out my 'overseas' mags, and putting them together in a magazine basket. Half is MS Stewart, the other half is filled with the mags you send me :O)
got to go. Have a lovely day & weekend xxxx
Another fan of Paula Deen here!!! Would you believe even Hannah likes watching her!? I should get a subscription to her mag too. I just cancelled my Rachel Ray one.. never really read it! lol
Have a great weekend!

Hi Denise! Isn't Paula Deen so lovely? I love her.
Thanks for posting the site for the Kooky Cupcakes. I will try those this week for Elliot & Emily.
I 'love' your patio set-up. Really, really lovely! I could picture mornings & evenings out there.
Have a blessed weekend. Hugs!
Hi Denise I've never heard of Paula Dean, never seen the magazine either. Glad you enjoyed it. I love your new little corner. This new house you have seems so very cozy. Hope you're enjoying it. big hugs

Hi Denise!! I get up every morning for work at 6AM, I do not like it either. I am always ready for the weekend so I can get some rest.
Enjoy your magazine and your weekend too!! It is nice and warm here. ((BIG HUGS))!!
HI Sweetie! My Mom loves Paula D. She is such a good cook. I haven't seen her magazine. I might check into that. By the way, I haven't knitted in weeks. I haven't been able to attend a class either, so hopefully next weekend we'll be back to class. Have a great SONday. Big hugs!
Hi Sweetie,
Paula's web site looks very interesting, I must explore it some more. Your blog is always so full of interesting things! I love coming here, and I'm sure others do too.
Now how fun that is to be choosing colours for your bedroom walls. What do you have in mind? There is nothing like paint to give a room a whole new fresh feel, not that yours is old or anything, your lovely home is still new. I'll be interested to see what you choose and watch the project unfold.
Hope you've had a great weekend. big huggles. xx
