I plan on staying home all day today! I feel like I'm on the go every day and am very much behind on housework. Monday I was out all day at the sewing class and yesterday I was out having coffee then went to get groceries in. By the time I got home and put the food away it was time to go out for Kristen again! So, for the rest of the week I will be making a concerted effort to stay home once I've taken Kristen to school. What with the rising prices of gas, I really should stop driving around so much and organize my days better.So, not much to blog about today. I did mention yesterday my new 'palm tree' that I bought for the balcony. Here's another picture of it. It is a silk plant because I'm not sure I can keep tropical plants alive out there (I don't have a very green thumb, and where I want this sitting I don't think it will get any sunshine because of the roof on the balcony.
So I will have a mixture of artificial and real plants out there, which I don't mind at all. I still need to get the tiles for our bistro table, but that will probably have to wait til my next 'errand run' maybe at the weekend. I wish you all a happy Hump Day :-)

Hi Denise, Love the Palm tree, I would of used silk too as I don't have a green thumb. Aren't gas prices horrible! That is why I stay home so much. Hope you get all your housework done and get to sew some too. Great your enjoying the lessons. Lots of ~hugs~
I'm just coming to check on "Susie Homemaker". Great idea with the palm, oh boy, I need a whole yard of silk plants. I am not good with keeping things alive at all. Your palm looks very lifelike, and it's one sure way of having it always look nice without bits dying off. If you didn't tell us, we'd never guessed it wasn't real.

before I forget, yes, I did get your email, but I didn't have time to reply yesterday. I wanted to get the project finished, and this morning I have been cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. And cooking. And tidying. And washing & ironing! argh! It's never ending, but flylady would be proud of me today. :O)
Not to worry about V, if you find it you find it, if not, oh well :O|
thanks for your comment today. If I had the time and energy I would look into doing what you suggest. I seriously have never seen anything like it before. Bearing in mind the 'trouble' I've been getting lately, I will be taking down the photo in a few hours time, I don't want to see it being copied (you know exactly what I mean!) In fact, I must just go and check my stats, make sure it hasn't been seen already, it's a shame to have to be so protective, but I am not going to constantly be the source of someone else making money. >:O|
ok. time I was off. Little one will be awake in a mo, and I must go and freshen up, I've been flitting about like a mad thing, and there have been rumbles of thunder 'cos it's sunny but dark, dark skies today. Fab. I could do with a corking storm today!
