I asked my sister where she could have got this from, then it dawned on me that I might be the culprit, and I just feel SO awful about it. You see, while I was in England I started getting a sore throat, which then went straight to my chest and one night I feared was moving up in to my ear and I was worried it would give me an ear infection just days before I had to fly home. So I went to a walk-in clinic and they gave me a 5 day course of antibiotics. I've still got a nasty cough (it seems to linger for weeks when I get one, although I feel fine every other way). But my mam told my sis that her's started with a scratchy throat - just like mine did. I did keep telling people I didn't want to hug them in case I passed anything on, but you know they just poo-poo that idea and hug you anyway. And I was sitting next to mam a lot chatting to her even when I had the sore throat :-( I just feel so bad! If you could, please join me in praying for a quick recovery for my mam, and that it's not pneumonia. I would appreciate your prayers, and will keep you posted. Right now she is comfortable and being taken care of in hospital, and my sister is on her way over again this afternoon to take a few items she needs.
On to good news - in December I will become a 'great aunt' again. My niece Deborah is pregnant and just found out today that she will be having a little BOY! :-) She already has 4 yr old Charlotte who Kristen just loved playing with while we were there. Her husbands parents already have 5 granddaughters and no grandsons, so you can imagine how ecstatic they all are. And I have to admit I was wrong - I told Debs it was definitely a girl! (just a bad guess on my part). Congrats to Deb and Glen :-)
So, one more week to go before school starts! Open house is on Thursday this week when we find out which class and teacher Kristen has. Book club is also this Thursday! and on Friday night I'm going to San Antonio to see Beth Moore Live!!! A busy week ahead, one which I need to start getting more organized in. Hope you all have a great start to your week!

I will say some prayers for your Mam.
School starts early for you all
Hi Denise! Hope your mom will make a quick recovery. Jeff's dad had pneumonia and he's in his 80's and he came out of it okay. It's good that she's getting antibiotics and good hospital care. I've got a Dog Beach video for my post tomorrow. You'll have to make videos next now that you've learned the slideshows. :D (((Hugz)))
Hi sweetie,
I'me so sorry your sweet Mam is unwell with suspected Pneumonia? and I certainly will keep her in my prayers. She is in the best possible place for them to get right on to treatment, and I'm sure they will do a great job of taking care of her. Please don't beat yourself up thinking you've caused this. You wouldn't have done that deliberately, and did warn people you were sick. Regardless sweetie, we need to focus on praying for your Mam and getting her well. I'm so pleased your sister can check on her often and be there to keep an eye on her and give you feedback.
I'm sorry my blogging is way behind. With heading to the US in less then 100 days now, I need to make sure everything is done so my businesses can smoothly while I'm away. I also am trying to get all my Christmas graphics underway as I won't be here to do those either. All of those things make for some very busy days, but I'm still here. It also means I don't want to bore people with me being in my drawing cave....but I must update my blog, I've been meaning to.
I so much miss our scrabble too and am miffed that took it off. I can still play with people here, but it was fun to play with you and Sue. I even found an e-mail version which worked for a few days until they pulled the plug on that too. Surely they can find a way with sponsors or something to have it on-line again. I really enjoyed it too and that very regualar contact, but I'll just drop by here more.
Sorry about the long prattle here...but you asked me about my blog template. I got it free from
http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com/ They are a bit slow loading today, I think due to the fact they are moving backgrounds to another server, but give it a try. There are lots to choose from and I just made my header to match mine. They are easy to add, she gives the codes and tells you exactly how to do it, but if you get stuck give me a yell and I can help you.
I'd better get off here before I fill up your whole page LOL!
Lots of love and warm hugs. xx
Hi Denise! I'm so sorry that you Mam is in the hospital, & please don't beat yourself up over thinking you caused this. I know your Mam doesn't see it that way, so I pray that your mind is at ease with this. I will pray for her (& for you).
Congrats on being a great aunt again! Hugs
sorry your Mam isn't well Denise. I hope she gets over it quickly and is soon back home. And stop feeling guilty. It's just one of those things.
Congrats on the new baby news. that's lovely. I understand the joy of having a boy after all the girls. That's why my mum and dad were so chuffed about humbug, they have 3 grandsons, so having the only grandaughter is a bit of a coup!
posted SK yesterday. Hope it reaches you quickly. ooh, and have sent out an 'invite' email. Am slowly getting round to sending them to everyone. xx
Hey Denise. Sorry to hear about your Mam. Please don't feel guilty - it's not your fault at all and you know that your Mam wouldn't have missed having the 3 of you visit for anything. Keep us up to date on how she is doing and give her our best :)
Hi Denise! I'm so sorry to hear Mam is in the hospital and will be praying for her. I loved see all of your pics from your trip. ((BIG HUGS))
Aw Sweetie... I'm sorry to read about your sweet Mam. Bless her sweet heart. I will pray for sure!
