We had a huge storm last night. I don't know what time it started but I was awake around 4am and could hear the windows shaking, even over the noise maker we have on! I kept wondering if Kristen would sleep through it like she did the last one. At 4.30am my wondering was over. She came in to our room and then asked if Boo could come in too. She closes the door when she comes in so Boo doesn't do a mad dash and jump on the bed, but I could see his little shadow outside the door, so I got up and let him in too. He settled on the bed pretty quickly, Kristen not so much, and me? well I never went back to sleep after that and finally got up at 5.45am!
The wonderful thing about being a SAHM is I can rest later if I need to. I don't usually nap but I will just sit down and put my feet up on the sofa in between housework if I am that tired, and today I think I'll be that tired!
I took this picture on Saturday evening . . . .

I looked out the back window and could see that the sky was turning a beautiful shade of orange, so I went and grabbed my camera. As we watched it, it got more fiery red,

How often we take for granted the beauty that surrounds us. On the agenda today, laundry, housework, a little sewing (making doggy bones for our 'themed' tree this year) and a little rest I hope. What will your day be filled with? I hope it's a good one!

Lovely sunset.
I just had to take a photo of the sunrise this morning, it looked so pretty. And it was taken quite late, just before 7, it's dark in the mornings now.
It's a shame Haloscan acts up for you. As far as I know, no one else has any trouble with it, other than the usual blips every so often.I don't think there is anything I can actually do about it, so I've no idea why you get problems. :o\
Yes, I see my blogger comments.
The dress I wanted for Humbug is sold out (new it would go early, so cheesed off about it), so it's back to the drawing board with that. Other than that, Christmas plans are trotting along nicely.
Have a lovely day. xx
Gorgeous pictures of the sunset. I love a good sunset :-D
Sorry you didn't get a full night's sleep. Guess on one hand it's good to savor those times with Kiki on stormy nights/mornings. Soon she'll be gone or too big to want to come to you in a storm.
Sounds like you're having a busy day. I'm having a quiet one... waiting for my MIL to come & drive me to the chiropractor. Can't wait to get my new wheels!
Love ya xo
Hi Denise! Beautiful sunset. Cute about all the visitors taking refuge from the storm. I can never nap during the daytime either- actually makes me feel worse- but, like you, just relax with some tea or something. (((Hugz)))
Hi Denise just a quickie inbetween baby sitting helping Joanne get her house sorted as she has someone coming to view it tomorrow, and taking mam to town tomorrow. Your tree as always looks great wish I had time to do just a little craft work or even housework. The pictures of the red sky looked really good but not as good as the sunset at the Oasis that was awesome,I'll be back to see that someday.Got your email sorry hav'nt had time to reply. Love and Miss you . xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
~What GORGEOUS outdoor photos Denise! God's work is truly amazing isn't it?
