The never-ending saga....

... of trying to keep my kitchen clean! Is it just me, or do you suffer with MKS too?

MKS? that would be 'messy kitchen syndrome'. I clean and declutter, then I clean again and declutter but every time I turn around it looks like this....

and this....

So, I clean - AGAIN, and I declutter - AGAIN, then I breath a sigh of relief, when I see this.....

and this......

ahhhhh, that's better. Now, do you think it will look like that for long?

Oh it looks so pretty, I love the little lamps. My kitchen stays cleaner & less messy when Joel travels, I wonder why ;o)

It looks so nice all cleaned up! Doesn't it make you feel good to have it like that? Love the little lamp.

You are so right Denise! Since we eat every meal at home now I feel like I live in the kitchen doing clean ups all the time. He! Your kitchen is so pretty and I adore the mini lamps.

You asked me about crystal light versus diet sodas. Come to think of it I really don't drink much of the crystal light at all. I still stick with water for dinner most of the time and my hubby drinks the crystal light. I wonder if I should change my post now? Hmmm...

I'm no expert at all on the subject of them but since I stopped all diet soft drinks I do feel so much better. I have also had many other changes so I'm sure everything is contributing to how much better I'm feeling though. The cravings are gone for refined sugar completely. Even the diet drinks cause you to crave sugar by tricking you into thinking you had something sweet. I have seen many articles on the internet about it lately. I didn't have any other reason for stopping them other than to control my cravings. For me it was a big key for my success.

Oh we love the roasted chicken! Thanks again for sharing that one with us! :)

Hi Denise!

I was out of town last week and out of touch, and the days before that I was like a mad woman trying to get ready to go out of town and leave the kids here. Now I'm having the best time getting caught up with people! I just read about 10 of your posts. It's so nice to see what you've been up to! Sounds like you're doing a great job of menu planning--that's one of my greatest weaknesses. Ugh. But I can SO relate to you on this post. Sometimes I feel like all I do is clean the kitchen, clean the kitchen, clean the kitchen--and then I look at it right now and I see that IT'S NOT CLEAN! Glad to know that I'm not the only one who struggles with that.

Hope you have a great week!

Hey--just stopping by to check in and see what is new with you. I haven't seen you come by lately.
Are you still getting my updates in reader. Google messed up my account in Dec so I never know when I don't see people for awhile.
Ihope you will post to the parties again also. They are really growing.
