Christmas Morning

We’re having another relaxing week this week, Jason decided on Sunday night that he’d take this week off work too! I guess you could call it his yearly vacation because he never really takes one in the Summer time. So, we’re hanging out at home, he’s playing World of Warcraft with Kristen and I’m knitting ;-) Jason’s actually working some hours too, so it’s not all play, but he’s still enjoying the ‘down time’ with us.

I thought I’d post a few more pictures these are from Christmas, morning. I’m all ready with the camera when Kristen goes downstairs but then I realize I didn’t take any of us the rest of the day! Thankfully we got a family pic in front of the tree on Christmas Eve.

My traditional Christmas morning Mimosa :-) One day Kristen might join me in a glass (Jason never does!)

After breakfast we then opened stockings to each other

I got lots of great knitting books from my wishlist AND (I forgot to take a picture) a HUGE bottle of Coco Chanel Mdmselle … and of course new pj’s :-)

I ordered Jason a special t-shirt from Boo! And I made him a calendar (from Shutterfly)

Boo gets a stocking too, Kristen is helping him open gingerbread cookies!

Kristen got a stocking from us too… she’s under there somewhere :)

Well that’s certainly picture overload. I’m off to make some blog visits and catch up with you all. Thanks for dropping by.

Looks like you had a great Christmas too! Love the shirt you got your hubby...so funny! My hubby plays World of Warcraft too, they have something in commom! Chase says the Wii is a little better than the kinect, but Kevin loves it! He came home from work and could not wait to play ping pong against people online!lol...it's definitely good exersize because he was really sweating!

Have a great day! Kristen

Hi Denise!
Looks like youn guys had a very nice Christmas :)

That's so cool that Kristen is so into Wolves. She got some nice stuff.

I noticed something in a few of your pictures and I have to ask you WHERE you got it. The cute little ladder with the elves climbing up! Oh my gosh I've wanted one of those for so long and can never find them. Would you mind letting me know?!
Thanks a bunch!

Again, glad you had such a nice Christmas :)

Great Xmas photos, Denise! Do you have to kill the champagne all by yourself then? ;) I'm glad I have plenty of helpers altho I always have leftover champagne. You look very festive in your satin red PJs! Happy 2011! (((Hugz)))

Her's a link to the candles:

http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/productdetail.jsp?CATID=cat280002&PRODID=zprd_02346708a

also found a good link with many flameless candles and a lot of timers, too.

http://www.flamelesscandles.net/

They're 30% off at JoAnn's but selection is smaller. You can always wait till they're not on sale and use the weekly 40% off coupons.

The ones at Bed, Bath & Beyond don't have the time but they are cheaper, come with batteries and you can always use multiple 20% off coupons at BB&B. Do you have BB&B? They even take expired coupons and you can use at least 5 at one time.
