Actually this isn't as funny as some wedding photos I've seen (I'm talking about those 70's pictures when your hubby had hair longer than you)! Yeah, I'm talking to you Nenna :-) Our wedding pics were taken in 1996 in CA. I was 33 when I married Jason and he was a mere 'baby' at 25!
I'm not sure where we're going tonight or even 'If' we're going. I had thought about getting something in to eat and dining out on our balcony once it got dark. Trouble is it doesn't get dark til nearly 8pm and I don't really want to wait that long to eat dinner. So we might go out to dinner then come home and relax on the balcony once it's dark. I love sitting out there with candles lit and the butterfly lights on. We have a movie to watch too which is always relaxing for us. Jason leaves on Sunday for Denver, to work for a week. Tonight is a much needed 'date' as he's been working a lot lately and I feel like we haven't sat down in a while and just enjoyed each others company.
So, whatever you're up to tonight, or over the weekend, I hope you all have a fun time.
Happy Father's Day too, to all the guys out there.

Aww, cute picture of you two! Happy Father's Day to Jason! Have a great weekend sweetie and enjoy your evening whatever you end up doing. Big hugs!
Beautiful Bride and Handsome Groom!! I have to say though... Jason looks younger today than he does in that pic -lol Weird how that works ;-)
Have a GREAT evening tonight at dinner and on the patio. You know what would be cool for you... a small portable tv and dvd so you could watch your movie out there tonight ;-)... but then again, when you have a large t.v. it's kinda hard to watch on a smaller screen... I know that feeling - hee hee. I ramble!
I'll be away this weekend so I won't be able to keep up with our Scrabble game until Sunday night after tonight. So I'll catch ya Sunday on that ;-)
Have a great weekend and Happy Father's Day to Jason!!
Love ya xo
Great photo of you both, Denise! I didn't realize you had married a younger man! ;) You go girl! Pretty bouquet, too. Have you seen my 70's wedding photo? Just as you described! ;) Have a great date night! (((Hugz)))
Oooh lovely picture and a toyboy! Well done you! Date night is a lovely idea, it is good to reconnect with each other. I got married in 1996 too, I cannot believe it has been so long, crazy.
lovely wedding photo Denise, and I didn't realise you had a toyboy either! ;o) We are the other way round, Bill is ten years older than me.
I already cringe at my wedding photos. well, one in particular. The one that Bill has in his den. It's a lovely one of him (which is why he chose it), but I'm laughing like a total lunatic, and the photographer took the pic from low, so you can just see a million chins wobbling under my manic grin! Attractive it is not. Of all the photos to choose!!!!!
Date night sounds lovely. When humbug is older Bill and I can do that, we haven't been out on any kind of date since before she was born, but that's ok. I really don't want to go anywhere without her!
Have not emailed you yet, but I will. Busy today, been shopping, cleaning, just having a quick surf then her ladyship will be up again. And Bill is out, so I can't get him to watch her.
Time I was off, think I heard movement next door. Have a lovely Saturday, enjoy Father's Day, ours is going to be quiet (and more than likely, rainy!) xxxxxxx
me again!
I sent you the link to the site.
I know exactly how you feel, when I saw them, I just sat and stared for ages. Then I looked at the prices and was shocked - so reasonable for cashmere! I'm hoping that they are as nice as they look on the screen, because I'm already plotting on getting at least one more! Of course, now I need a blue bag, because do you know, I don't have any blue bags! Well, one greenish-bluey-turquoisey coloure bag, but that would not look right. :) I am totally into beads with that kind of look too. Here's what you need to do, when you see looks like that that you just think 'ooh, I like that' to, print them off, cut them out of mags, whatever, and glue in a notebook. Then when you're out shopping and you spot something you see in a similar style, you can try on. It's also a good way of building up a 'look' without spending any money. If you can put it together and think that it would work well, then you see exactly what you want to look for when out shopping. Also, if you decide on your colour 'zones', then buy things in those zones, you can mix and match, and you don't waste time buying anything in a colour you know you will never wear. Saves a lot of time and money. Contrary to what anyone might think, I rarely clothes shop. I hate it. I prefer to shop by the Next home catalogue, and even then I stick to my zones, and only buy things that I think will work with things I already have. Mostly jeans. That's why I love bags, shoes, hats and accessories so much. You can easily change your look by changing something as simple as a brooch.:O) More to come over the next couple of months, as the mags start churning out the A/W looks!
xxxxx
Hope you guys had a great date night. Did you eat out or stay in and have a quiet balcony dinner?
Oh yes, Darylynn have those 70's wedding photos, and yes they are a bit much! Lucky we didn't realise and thought they were the ants pants at the time. Thankfully I married an awesome guy, so our marriage has gone from strength to strength over the years, even if the wedding photos havent!
Awww...Jason is away this week. If you're bored, we can add some extra scrabble games.
Happy Father's Day to Jason BTW.
xxx
Oops...that last post was meant to read "Darylynn and I have those 70's wedding photos". I need an editor!
Hi Denise! I love the photo of you and Jason. I hadn't realized you married a much younger man. Rudy is 1 year younger than me and always teases me that I will be old before him! Hope you had fun on your date night. ((BIG HUGS))
