It's 8.20pm and I'm only just sitting down after being on the go ALL day again! The nice thing is that I can put my feet up as I type this..... because I'm using my laptop. Not just any laptop (meaning my old, very sloooooow laptop) but my brand spanking (I got a Christmas gift before Christmas) laptop! :-) Yes..... I have the kind of husband that Sadie would love at this time of year. Where she's having to snoop around and not let on to her hubs that she's opened pressies, my hubby actually encourages me to open mine - then he doesn't mind at all that he has to go out and buy something else for me to open at Christmas!
I forgot to mention yesterday (I was so busy telling you all about the events at school) that it was our 11th wedding anniversary. We didn't do anything special last night, just watched tv together, but after Kristen went to bed we exchanged cards and gifts. We usually don't do this because it is so close to Christmas (and I have such a hard time as it is trying to think of things to get Jason) that I told Jason years ago not to bother with gifts anymore! For some reason, this year he wanted to. He bought me my favorite perfume (yay, because I was just about to run out and hadn't even told him) and I had actually bought him some cologne which I was going to put under the tree but I gave to him last night instead.
Jason has actually never worn cologne in the whole time I've known him, but I said after 12 years together I'd like to smell something other than just soap ;-) Having never bought aftershave or cologne in years I didn't even know what scent I liked, or what Jason would like. I did a bit of smelling in Dillards dept store last week and chose 'Armani Code'. I really like it, and Jason..... well let's just say Jason will wear it to keep me happy :-)
After opening our gifts Jason proceeds to ask me if I wanted to open the other gift that was under the tree for me! I tried to say no, I really did... but what's a girl to do when posed with such a dilema. So, here I am with my feet up and typing away on my brand new toy.
I won't bore you with the details of my crazy day, other than to say I was driving back and forth (to the mall, the groomers, school) nearly all day. School is finally out - hopefully I won't have to venture very far tomorrow.

ooh, a new laptop how fabulous! You lucky thing! :O)
Well, I wouldn't say Bill doesn't know that I find and open my pressies, he does. He's resigned to the fact that I am always going to find them and open them before Christmas! Poor man. We are chalk and cheese. Because his birthday is the 2nd Jan, some of his relatives send his bd card along with a Christmas card and write on it 'for the 2nd Jan', and you know what, he actually keeps them and opens them then! Can you imagine! I would have opened them straightaway! ha ha ha! I am going to teach humbug all my naughty ways, she's going to love her mummy!
Haven't smelled the Armani code, when I get into town (post sales, will not be jostling amongst the fools buying tat just because it's reduced!),then I shall smell it. I meant to reply to your email the other day and say Happy Anniversary, and well done RE the Chanel! I am proud! :O) Chance isn't one that I am fond of, ditto Allure, the latter gave me my first ever migraine, so I haven't touched it since. I'm strictly a No5, No19, Cristalle and CoCo girl. Though I have had a bottle of Mademoiselle, and thought it was very pretty. One day I'll go to the Chanel boutique and try all of the ones they sell exclusively in there.
Got your card today. :O) Turned out very nicely didn't it? Thanks so much for sending it.
well, must get on. Humbug is half way through her nap and will be awake soon. Good. I miss her when she's not here so to speak, though I know she needs nap time, and I need her to have it too. Am finally up to date with the ironing now, and her tea is already made! Yey!
have a lovely day. Sorry for rattling on so much! Have fun with your fab new laptop xxxx
Yay on the new laptop! I love mine :) How cool that you get to open presents early. I don't even have anything wrapped yet, so there is no temptation from anyone here to peek. The kids are expecting just money, so they will be surprised to see a gift under the tree for them to share (it's a new PS2--but shhhh...don't tell them ;) ). Anyway, I hope you have a nice, relaxing day at home. Big hugs!!
WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!! I am excited for you!!! What a sweetheart! Have a Merry Christmas my sweet friend!

Hi sweetie,
who's a lucky girl then!!!!!! that's wonderful. Enjoy your new toy. You'll have to take a pic to show us your new toy.
Happy anni to you and Jason and how nice that he wanted to exchange gifts this time, I think it's a really nice thing to do. Our 30th wedding anniversary is on January 14th(how can it be 30 years when I'm only 28???)I've been dropping huge hints (but they have to be huge for men to know we mean them and we're not just talking about a vague idea for the future)...anyway back to the hints..I would really like a new wedding ring with diamonds in it. No, I won't make him give me 30 diamonds LOL. Anyway, lets see if he has industrial deafness re: my massive hints.
I hope you and all those you love have an awesome Christmas, filled with much love and many blessings. Saying an extra prayer for you this Christmas knowing how much you miss your mum and the folks back home. Extra hugs and lots of love, Julie. xx
