Well, I did start this post yesterday (when it was Sunday) but obviously didn't get it finished. I enjoyed a lazy day instead just knitting while Kristen and Jason played with the new 'Mario Galaxy 2' that I bought them for the Wii. We also went out for lunch together to the Chinese Buffet again (as much as I like that place I told Jason I wouldn't want to make it a habit to eat there.... it's so easy to eat waaaaaaay too much!)
So yay, school is finally out for Summer :-) No more getting up at 6am for many many weeks. In saying that, I was still up at 7am this morning with Jason. He usually doesn't get up til nearly 8am but needs to get in to the office a bit earlier this week so I told him I'd get up with him (cos that's what good 'wiffies' do!) LOL :-)
This weekend we hung out with our neighbors, Cheryl and Steve as they had friends in from CA. We sat out on our front porch on Friday night, while the kids played with the sprinkler toys.

Cheryl took this picture of Kristen and posted it to her Facebook photos so I 'borrowed' it to post here - that is one happy little girl!
I seriously need to start making notes about what we did during the week, I've once again forgotten, or is it the fact we didn't do anything that makes it hard to remember?
I started 'Flying' again! Told you about that on Thursday :-) Today is my first day, so to speak of trying to clean and declutter the 'Flylady' way. I'll let you know what I did and keep you posted (and perhaps even motivated) next time I blog.
I listed a few things in my Etsy shop! Thanks everyone for stopping by and taking a look. There is only one thing left in there again, so I need to get busy knitting more. I think I may start to focus on some 'winter' knits too. That doesn't sound appealing when it's 90 degrees outside, but that's something I will need to do if I want to be one step ahead of the season. No point in starting to knit winter items in the Winter, or it will be Spring before I get them finished and listed!
Well, it's 8.30am now. Jason has just left for work, Kiki is just waking up and I'm off to get another cup of coffee and think about what to have for breakfast! Have a wonderful start to your week everyone and thanks for stopping by :-)

OK, you are encouraging me to get going on some "baby steps" of my own. Your daughter looks so cute in the photo, and I just noticed the sidebar photo for the first time today - what a gorgeous girl!
I remember the days of running thru the sprinkler...definitely a favorite summertime thing. Your daughter looks so cute in that picture.
Happy Monday!
Hi Denise! Give a kid a sprinkler and they can have so much fun! Ryan ignores his little wading pool and prefers to play with the hose. We are having our usual June Gloom in the mornings but the sun shows up around 10 AM. Love summer vacation! Enjoy! (((Hugz)))
Hi Denise! I remember the fun days of playing in the sprinkler! Kristen does look like one happy girl! Love your knitted wash clothes. ((BIG HUGS))
Hi Denise! I loved the photo of Kristen. I had a sprinkler toy chosen for the kids way back in February, but decided to wait. Probably a mistake, because everyone has bought them. I'll go online to get one. Thanks for this reminder. We need that here today - it's 110F. With those temps, maybe I'LL run through them! :-)
I'm with you on the Chinese food - way too easy to overeat, but wow, is it every so good!!
Have a wonderful start to your Summer Denise. Enjoy those lazy summer mornings. Hugs!
Sounds like a fun weekend. That picture is priceless. Isn't that what summer is all about when you are little? It would be wonderful to be that carefree again. Carla
Hi Denise,
Hope you are having a wonderful day! Cute photo of your daughter and a great way to have fun!
I received the cloths today and was thrilled-loved them! Will you be knitting scarfs at any time-these are so needed here in our Winters as you know!!If you are I will be first in line to order.
Hugs and blessings.
Sounds like a great time with your daughter...I miss the kids and the sprinklers! Have a great summer together! Come say hi :D
Sounds like you are starting your summer off just right. Sleeping in a little, 'flying', and enjoying your friends.
I think Kristen looks so cute in the sprinklers. Have a great week.
Hi Denise!

Have a great day hun!

HI Denise. It looks like Kristen had a great time in the sprinkler. I loved that when I was a kid. I am also glad to not have to get up at 6AM for a while. :) Have a nice week. ((BIG HUGS))!!
Good luck with the flying. I tried that several years ago and just felt like it was too overwhelming. You are doing great with the etsy...way to go.
