Day 4 of Blogtoberfest!
I have to say the weather is just glorious here right now. It’s worth a mention because I’ve waited ALL summer long for cooler days like this. The mornings are starting off in the mid 50’s which is really ‘crisp’ and the highs this week will be no more than 83. There’s not a cloud in the sky! I wish I had a picture to share of the pretty blue sky. Instead I’ll share this pretty ‘pot Mum’ - taken a few years ago back in MD!
This past week I’ve been super busy doing one of the things I love most . . . . knitting :-) The fingerless mittens on my Etsy store are proving to be very popular.
Not only did I just sell two pairs today but I was asked to knit three pairs earlier last week in specific colors. Seems like many of you are already getting started on your Christmas shopping! I need to do the same – but then I ask myself “shall I knit for my Etsy store, or knit Christmas gifts for the family?” Of course I can try to do both but then I might start stressing that the weeks are going by too fast and I won’t get it all done! Hmm? I need a plan of action . . . . AND a list. In order to get anything accomplished one should start with a list ;-)
It’s 82 days to Christmas! Have you checked out THIS SITE yet? Have you made a list, perhaps you’ve made many. I know I need to start tonight.

I love a list too:) Makes life seem like it is in order.
I LOVE your gloves. I sure could have used a pair in the north but thank goodness, I won't need them here in the south. Or else I won't need them as much.

Hi Denise! My favorite pair so far are the ones pictured today. SO cute! I have learned that you accomplish so much more with a list too. I just started doing that a few weeks ago, & it's amazing how much you can get done if you see it right in front of you. Plus, I 'love' putting that little 'check' there - such a feeling of accomplishment!
It's been beautiful here too...still quite warm, but so beautiful! Nothing like the triple digits that it was a few weeks ago.

oh I'm so in the same boat about who to knit for - I had all these good plans to start in July but that went out of the window !!
