We had such a fun time at our Murder Mystery party last night, BUT I cannot reveal who the murderer was ;-) After all, someone might actually want to buy the game and play it one day. I also have plans to perhaps swap this game with Mikki, who told me about these mystery parties in the first place, and I wouldn’t want to spoil it for her.
So, I will simply say everything went really well, the meal turned out great, the cocktails were a big hit and we had lots of fun and laughter. Here’s some pictures from the night. . .
To greet my guests I made a sign for the front of the ‘restaurant’
As they came in I offered them cocktails. . . I showed you the green one yesterday, and the other one I made was a cosmopolitan
So, the dead guy played by ‘no one’ was Pepi Roni! Here is his grieving widow Mama Rosa and her son Marco (Marco Roni – get it!) ;-)
Pepi’s twin brother Rocco and his fiancé Tara Misu!
(aka Mark and Patty (Cheryl's sister)
Then there was Bo Jalais and his wife Angel
(aka AJ and John, our other friends in the cul-de-sac)
and lastly of course ‘the hosts’
Claire Voyant and Father Alfredo!
I also set the kitchen table to look like a ‘reserved’ table in the restaurant (but I took the pictures before I made the reserved sign!)
I must admit it looked rather cute – notice the ‘fake’ spaghetti and meatballs (my yarn and Ferrera Roche chocolates) ;-)
It was after midnight when we went to bed, so guess what I’m doing today? Nothing!!
Enjoy your weekend :-)
hugs
Denise

This looks like SO MUCH FUN! I love how everyone is dressed, love the decorations, and it looks like everyone had a blast. I just love creative stuff like this!
PS--the yarn spaghetti and chocolate meatballs sure look real to me ;) So clever!
Cute pictures and cute party! I love your spaghetti and meatballs:)
You look great in your gypsy outfit! Sounds like a great time.
I wish I was your neighbor, Denise! Looks like great fun and all your friends seemed to be good sports who got into the spirit! Great job on the setting, too!
Thanks so much for your prayers and support during our sad loss of Kali. Our hearts are heavy but we take comfort in the life we gave her and the extent we went to help her. It helped having Ryan's birthday weekend so we didn't wallow in self-pity! ;) (((Hugz)))
This looks like fun! My daughter and I made the candy corn cookies I saw on your blog recently. They turned out so cute and we put them in goody bags for her to take back to uni to her friends.
Happy Birthday Denise, I hope you have a fantastic day! Hugs
