It’s October, my birthday month :-) I told you I was gonna do something special (or try to) all month, and here’s the first thing. . . as you can see I’ve changed my blog appearance for the occasion, AND made a new blog header. Those are some of the photos taken on birthdays past, the most significant being my big 40th, which I can’t believe was 7 years ago now and Kristen was only 3! And a picture from last year – I always ask Kristen to help me blow out my candles. And I made the little flower arrangement one year for my birthday.
Not only is it October but today is the start of Blogtoberfest! What’s that you ask? Head over to Tinnie’s blog to find out. I’ve never participated in this before but I might try to this year – ooh but that might be biting off more than I can chew. . . . a post every day for the next month? We’ll see!
My inlaws are popping over tonight. I’m gonna make it a wine and cheese party – the first of many ‘monthly’ treats for me, I think ;-)

Hi Denise! As far as October birthdays, there's Elizabeth, Sadie, me, Ryan and you that I know of. :) Enjoyed Boo's Birthday video and especially hearing your voice for the 1st time.
