Not much else on the agenda. I will hopefully be getting back in to the swing of things (gym, housework, daily chores etc) tomorrow when Kristen goes back to school. I'm kinda sad that the Christmas breaks is over for her as I do get used to having her at home each day! But we both need the consistency of a schedule in our lives that's for sure.
I will let you know how the Olay eye derma-pods work out. It recommends you only use them 3 times a week and I've only used them twice so far. I'll keep you posted on what I think.
As for the Crest whitening strips! I bought the wrong ones - there were so many different packages for these. I had in my hand ones that said just wear for 5 minutes a day which I thought was great, but for some reason I kept looking at the other packs. The ones I'd tried before I had to keep on for 15 minutes twice a day. And for some reason, the package I eventually picked up (only a 14 day supply) says I have to wear them twice a day for 30 MINUTES!!!! I hate the feel of those gooey strips on my teeth to be honest, I would rather do it for just 5 minutes a day for a longer period than 14 days. But I will have to use these now as I've already bought them.
Pulte guy should be here in half an hour, so I'm off to clear up the kitchen.
Have a great day.
P.S. I forgot to mention, my headache has gone and I feel fine today :-) No cold or flu symptoms at all!

hello! Had lots to catch up on. I've been pretty lax with visiting lately, but I have been busy offline. In my defence!
Well, to make the chicken, it's pretty easy. Just take chicken breasts and make a cut in the underside to make a pocket. Careful not to cut all the way through. Then, blitz up a little unsalted butter, one clove of garlic, a small handful of thyme and four or five sage leaves. Once blitzed, just squidge into sausage shapes in your hand, stuff into the pocket and tuck the chicken in under the bottom once placed in a dish. I popped sage leaves on top, then roasted until cooked through. Basting with the melted butter from time to time. You end up with lovely flavoured chicken, which when you cut into has a little green layer from all the herbs and garlic. It was a bit experimental, and I didn't know if it would be nice or not. It was lovely. I'll definitely be doing it again.
tonight it's prawn cocktail (I checked, and it's very SBD friendly), followed by steak and salad with roasted butternut squash chunks. I'm roasting the squash with thyme and garlic and olive oil.
I'm glad you aren't coming down with something. We're all getting over colds now, which is great. Sorry you had to stay away from the neighbours, but it was the sensible thing to do. :O)
I can finally get on with a good de-Christmassing tomorrow. I've made a bit more work for myself by putting balloons and a banner out on the front door for Bill. I'm sure he'll cringe when he sees the balloons tied up, they're blue and say 'birthday boy'! ha ha ha!
have a lovely day xxxx
Glad your headache is gone. I have some Crest whitestrips and need to pull them out...I hate wearing them too but it's a small sacrifice for white teeth right? Have a great day!
Hi Denise! Joan told me about Oil of Olay Regenerist Night Serum which was flying off the shelves in New Orleans a few years ago. I trust those southern women to know their skin care. ;) In California, we bake our skin and pay for it later. (((Hugz)))
Hey you!!
Doug got me white strips in my stocking and I'm trying them for the first time. I am not fond of the feeling either and I obsess about if they're in place the entire 30 minutes. I hate how sensitive my teeth feel afterwards so I don't do them every day - I tend to take a day off every 2nd day. I have 2 more days left but I am stunned at the difference!! My teeth don't look my age anymore :-)
I'm hoping that we can meet up online during the day some day to chat. I sure miss you! I didn't get out today to the post office but will try to get it together for tomorrow or Friday.
Big hugs xo
Hi Denise! I'm glad you are feeling better. Seems like everyone I know is feeling under the weather--including me now :( I hope tomorrow the worst is over. I have some white strips, too. Since you and Sue are talking about them, I should pull mine out and try them again, too. Have a great rest of the week. I am hoping to be motivated to clean tomorrow, too--if I feel better. Big hugs!!
Can you come over and clean my kitchen??????
