For some reason the house doesn't seem to get as messy when there's only one adult (meaning me!) and child in it. So, my kitchen is tidy, laundry is on, groceries are in (went this morning after dropping Kristen off at school) so I'm gonna knit for an hour and not feel guilty about it.
There's really not much else for me to blog about, so I'll make this a very small post. Hopefully I will have plenty of time later to do some blog visits.
Hope your week is getting off to a good start :-)

Sometimes my typos are just so silly!
Hi Denise,
Enjoy your quiet week. Dan is going out of town this evening so I am going to attempt to have a quiet evening as well--unless April forces me to go to the gym :p Big hugs!
Hi Denise! Enjoy your quiet time. I'm used to Jeff being gone 24 hours at a time and I like my freedom to do what I want, too. :) Hope he has a nice trip! Should be pretty this time of year with the snowy mountains. (((Hugz)))
Hey D! Enjoy your peace & quiet this week ;-)
How was your Friday Night at home last weekend?? What did you end up watching??
To answer your question... I think I may just keep my blog over here at Blogger... that way I can write freely & not worry about Doug's co-workers reading anything I write ;-)
Have a great week!! Hope to catch up soon
Hugs xo
I always say to Bill that when he's not here the house stays neat and tidy, there isn't as much washing to plod through, and cooking is quick and easy with only myself and the girl to sort. :O)
Well, humbug has already got her hands on my make up. I'm not too fussed, I keep saying to her that if she's going to play with make up I'd rather she did it with Chanel! The lip gloss I gave her yesterday was years old, and I'd hardly every used it. the colours were sort of pearlised and very pale. she had a great time gouging it out with her fingers. When she slept I removed what was left and gave it a good scrub. She just likes opening the little case and playing with the tiny brushes and looking at herself in the mirror! She's mangled quite a few of my lipsticks, but oh well! She has scribbled on loads of walls in the house, and Bill has had to repaint a few! Ha ha ha. Toni mentioned the terrible two's,but I think she's been going through that for the past few months. Has a few little strops and tantrums. I just step over her and say 'what are you doing down there?' She soon gives up and gets up. She really is a little diva.
So yes, sounds like you got off very lightly! :)
hope you are having a good Tuesday. Happy knitting!
Hi Denise, popping in to see what's going on with you. Peace and quiet....what I would give for a week like that to just have "me" time all week. Isn't that selfish of me? I hope you get lots of time to do what you want to do this week.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Cindy
Enjoy your day and time knitting! :)
Hi Denise,
Have a great time doing what you want when you want. I am like Cindy, I would like lots of "me" time. I think everyone needs it and you really miss it if you don't have it. Whenever I get time, I can't remember what I was going to do when I got the chance. Now I keep a list. Hugs
