Belated Birthday Wishes

Because of my long post yesterday I didn't get to mention that is was my sweet hubby's birthday - so belated birthday wishes to my 'sweetie-pie', and to everyone else that was having birthdays yesterday, which I understand were quite a few. And thank you everyone for leaving birthday wishes for him on Facebook :-)

Kacy asked how old Jason was - I don't think men are as sensitive about their age, so I'll tell you, he's 38! But in saying that, I've never minded saying my age either, so I will also tell you (those who don't already know) that Jason is 8 years younger than me! (I'll let you do the math). I've never felt there was an age gap though, and to look at us, well I've often been complimented that I look the same age

Boo always loves to get in on the act, and was very excited when Jason was opening his presents. It was rather a quiet day for him really (Jason, that is, not Boo). His friends at work took him out to lunch so he wasn't really hungry when he came home so I didn't do any fancy dinner for him. We thought about going out to dinner but neither one of us was hungry enough to bother!

Once again I find myself not in front of the camera this week, so I'll share a picture taken back in June when my sister came to visit from England ;-)

Have a great Thursday everyone! And to everyone leaving comments.... THANK YOU so much, they always make me smile and I'm trying to return all the visits.

Hi Denise!
It sounds like Jason had a nice birthday. You and he do look the same age--I'd never believe you were eight years older than he is. Love the pic of you and your sis. I can see the resemblance. Have a great day sweetie! xx

Hi Denise! Jason looks happy getting his Craftsman tools. Men love their tools and I know Jason also likes games. :) That's what Justin would want for his birthday. :) And yes, you and Jason look the same age so no cradle-robber comments coming your way! ;) (((Hugz)))

Hi Denise,
~Happy Birthday to Jason!~
We do share the same day. Lot's of B-days in Blogland this week for sure.

I turned 44 and my hubby will be 37this November so I can relate to the age thing you mentioned.
We've been married over ten years and it seems like he's the older one. Too funny!

Your daughter is just beautiful by the way. Lovely photos of all.

Have a blessed day my friend.
~Warmly, Melissa

There are ten years between Bill and me, though the extra years are on his side :O) I don't notice any gap either, as we are so similar in our ways and tastes. Mind you, I had to delete a tag message the other day, after I'd posted a photo of Bill and Humbug swimming in the pool, the comment read something about her looking like she was enjoying being with her Grandpa!!!!!! I didn't want Bill to read that, he might have been a bit demoralised(and it upset me a tad too, he might have grey hair but he doesn't look like Humbug's Grandad!!!!). A case of someone not reading my post properly, and making assumptions.

Happy belated bd wishes to Jason :O)

Love the photos on the left, Boo looks like he's smiling for the camera and K looks very regal.

Enjoy your Thursday
xx

p.s I would have snaffled a bit of the choccy earlier, but I totally forgot about it! I'm happy to wait until tomorrow now, so I can sit an enjoy it. well, as long as I like the taste that is! xx

My husband and me are the same age (lacking 3 mos!) but I really don't think age has anything to with love.
BTW- great pics
