I did hop over there, and the apple pie looks wonderful (although I agree with you about the millk or egg wash). I didn't even know you had a cooking blog. You're such a Renaissance woman!
That last comment was really from me. . . I didn't realize that I was signed into my son's Blogger account. Oops! It was really I who read about your apple pie, not LegoLee!
Oh my are you going to become the next Julie? Loved that movie and it made me want to be more creative in my cooking- your picture of this wonderful dessert makes me wish the same thing!
Denise, I would love to hop over there and get a recipe, but hubby and I are dieting and sweets are my downfall. I am adding you to my list of Texas bloggers and hope you will come and visit.
quick note. Trying to do 6 million things at once here!
Saw your email (only found it yesterday, must get into the habit of checking mail box each day!) Yes, I did take a few photos. I'll email some over later - probably later tomorrow at the rate I'm getting things done - but I did put one on flickr. The pretty white with rosebud teacup and the side plate on the left were part of my Mother's Day pressie :O)
Yummy, I'll go check it out. Call me silly, but I saw your name on Susan's blog and had to come follow you...We Dennice/Denise girls need to stick together :)
