Ever had a vision of something 'crafty' you want to do... and it came out exactly as you imagined it? I did just that this weekend :-) I had the urge to get my sewing machine out and I envisioned finally make the Amy Butler Lounge Pants from her In Stitches book. Not only did I envision making the pants in a classy black & white print, but I thought I could put a heart motif on a white tank/vest that I already had in my closet. I dashed out to JoAnn Fabrics on Friday afternoon, bought a few yards of material and made these on Saturday . . . . (imagine the before picture... just a piece of black and white fabric!)

I'm linking this to Susan's Met Monday post.

Also Linking to Sachiko at Tea Rose Home for her first Linky Party. . .

Denise they are soooo precious! You are really talented at sewing. I have never sewed a stitch ever.
You look like a beautiful model!
Oh Denise! Very cute. Me like:)
I am impressed you just get a vision and act on it and it is a success. Enjoyed reading a few past posts too.
I love Austin. My son got married there so it will always be special to me.
Fantastic! Yes, it's absolutely brilliant when you get an idea and it turns out how you hoped. It doesn't always happen for me, but it has recently. The tablecloth for example, that's been bubbling away in my mind for ages so I am really chuffed with how it turned out.
Your photos are fine, shows them off really well. I love jim jams, so I might have to give it a go too!
have a lovely start to the week. Thanks for stopping by yesterday, just want to check that you got my email last week? (it's ok, not expecting a reply, just like to make sure. I emailed Bill at work and hit never showed up).
xx

Denise! I knew you could knit, but I didn't know you could also sew! These are adorable. You're a great model, by the way!
Wow this is so pretty, I love it! I'm impressed! Way to go Denise! Hugs
So cute! I need to find a pattern for me because I can't find any pj pants anywhere that I like.
Very nice, Denise! We have a popular shop here called Cotton Baby and that would be something they would sell there. Maybe you could go into business supplying a shop? :) I like the fabric and the matching heart on the tanktop. I could see that being done on sweats, too. Enjoy Spring Break and have a great week ahead with lots of sunshine! (((Hugz)))
Wow Denise! What a great job, & I think the model looks wonderful too! :-) You are so crafty. Now I want to drag out my sewing machine. I haven't sewn in years, so who knows what I would come up with??? LOVED Susan's Met Monday post - I spent soooo long at her site! Love you Denise!
