I want to thank you all for leaving a comment in my last post and giving me some ideas about my dining room and hallway. I think I am leaning toward putting the buffet back in the hallway, but as of yet I haven't done it (and I haven't told hubby I will be doing it either!). I'll keep you posted on any changes I make.

Today I thought I'd join in with Outdoor Wednesday, it's been a while since I've done so. Pop over to Susan's lovely blog and see what everyone else is getting up to outside, now that Spring is most definitely on it's way.
I took these pictures in the back yard the weekend before last (Feb 28th), it was one of our first really warm days. This is the sad state of our veggie beds right now. . .

I was doing this . . .

The sun is shining again today and it's lovely out. I went for a walk this morning and felt great for doing so. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

How lucky to see gardening season began in your area! I'd say resting and enjoying the sun on your face for 5 minutes would be the perfect cure for spring fever :)
It looks like you had a wonderful sunny day to spend outside in your garden!
Kat :)
~Ah! How relaxing does this look. I'm the same way now. No more tanning for me. I turn red and splotchy right away. Just thinking back on all of the tanning I did in my youth makes me cringe. Yikes!
i love your boots! most of our yard is still covered in snow :) i would love to sit out and get some sun......pretty soon! have a nice day! susan
I love your boots! Hubby and I are beginning to plan our backyard area - we've lived here 2 years and it's nothing but grass and a few scrubby shrubs. This nice weather's got me motivated! Thanks for stopping by my blog today, and hope you'll come back soon!
The weather has been wonderful today hasn't it? We are just north of Austin and yesterday and today were close to perfect. I really need to start working on a garden, but work keeps getting in the way! Thanks for stopping by, if you like to visit historical cemeteries you really should go tour the Texas State Cemetery in Austin. It's absolutely beautiful and has some really interesting monuments. Now that's the life! But you know how it is. No one can do it "quite" like we can!

I would TRY to do that too lol Happy Outdoor Wednesday!
hahaha you are entitle to do just that after the hard yakka... good to see spring is in the air already in your end.
Feeling the sun is a wonderful reward for hard work...(with sunscreen)...loved your photos!!!
I think you have the right idea, Denise, lol. I can't wait to se your garden in full bloom...Christine
You made me laugh Denise when I got to the pic of you soaking up the sun! :-) Too funny! I absolutely love reading your blog & getting to have a part in your days in some small way. Sending you big hugs!
Your boots are too cute! Wow! I am glad you caught a break. I have to get my gardening in gear.
:o) fabulous! Too cold here to sit outside in the gardening! Finally replied to your email xx
so jealous of the sun and grass....we are still under snow! Love the wellies : )
Cute boots! Looks like a nice sunny and very productive day. I too cringe when I think of all the years I hung out on the bow of our sailboat and cruiser soaking up the sun and sometimes slathered with baby oil! I am much wiser now and although I am still a water baby, I make sure to carefully protect my skin.

you make me want to get out and work in my yard...it really needs it, and believe me, we will be hitting it hard before the house goes back on the market. Michael does such a wonderful job at keeping it manicured. Wish I was as good as keeping the weeds at bay in the flower gardens. Maybe this year. :)
Hugs sweetie!
That was too funny:) Love the rain boots!
Glad you had some sunshine. We had about 5 days but now it is rainy. That's okay. I enjoyed my 5 days.
